Julie is the founder and Managing Director of Distinction Marketing. She launched and sold a successful publishing company whilst still in her early twenties, went on to hold senior international marketing roles for some high-profile British companies and formed her own consultancy business ten years ago.
Julie has a deep understanding of the modern day challenges organisations face and expertly applies the principles and practices of strategic marketing to deliver competitive advantage and long term sustainability. She has a particular interest in customer and stakeholder insight research and is an experienced marketing mentor and coach.
In a voluntary capacity, Julie acts as marketing adviser to Distinction Marketing's adopted charity, the Lake District Search & Rescue Dog Association www.sardalakes.org.uk. Never one to sit around, she is a marathon runner and enjoys horse-riding and escaping to the Lake District hills.
